I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet wedding between Brett and Betsy.  It was a daytime affair, complete with lawn games, music, lots of cute kiddos and delicious desserts (made by their talented friends).  Ravenswood Park in Livermore is a lovely location for a wedding, by the way.

We started in Betsy’s grandparents house -I love photographing the “getting ready” shots in a home.  It gives the images immediate context and so much meaning.  Betsy had spent a lot of time in this house with her friends when they were younger, so it sort of felt like they were all getting ready for a school dance while the grandparents were in the kitchen making sandwiches.  🙂
