So… I went on a little trip with my girl, Skylar and my brother Billy. Or Bill, if you met him after age 10.
Our mom has escaped the Maine winter and is spending some time on Jekyll Island -a beautiful state park off the coast of Georgia. Here are some images from our stay with her…

Mom, Sky and her dog Ashley Belle. Sky is still telling me that she NEEDS to go to BEACH with Birdie (mom’s grandma name) and Ashley. NOW.
On our last morning, Billy and I got up to see the sunrise with mom. This is something she does every morning on Jekyll. Here we are walking out to the beach:

Next stop- Ceday Key, Fla. My dad and Carol (stepmom) also escaped the Maine winter and are spending a few months on the west coast of Florida. These are all smart Mainers.
