Welcome to the world, little Gray.
6 years ago, we moved back to Oakland after 3 years in Miami and I brought a 5 month old baby (Will) with me. I had no friends with babies, all my childless friends were busy and I was so lonely. If you’ve ever felt like a lonely mamma, then you know where I am coming from. Sacha was like a gift sent to me from the God of Friendless Mothers and I will be forever grateful for finding her. Not only is Sacha a true gem but she introduced me to Megan and Kristen -and without those three, the early years of mothering would have been (and would continue to be) so dull.
I met little Gray last week and took a few photos. Those hazy, emotion-filled days just after having a baby are so surreal. I love the chance to take pictures during that time because before you know it, regular life sweeps in and pulls you back into the game.
Many congrats Sacha and Joel! I can’t wait to watch this little boy grow up.
