What a beautiful day it was! And what a fabulous veil Stephanie wore. It was a last minute decision to go for a long one, and I’m so glad she did. Stephanie was inspired this post on Anna Kuperberg’s blog to get a veil.

I wanted to share with you one of the new fun things I am offering this year. Personalized wedding website! I use the images from your engagement shoot to create the website, you send me the details of the wedding day, and viola! You have your own site, with no random advertising from the wedding channel, etc.

The design is similar to my main site, clean and modern. A guess what? The sites are included in every basic package -there is no extra charge for them. Nice, right?

Guest Sign-in Album

I’m working on a new studio sample -thought I’d share some spreads! This is for an 8×10 guest sign-in album. I love these albums -by the end of the wedding night, they’ve become a beautiful combination of special photos and well wishes from your closest friends and family. Nice stuff.

In case you are curious, this is Barrie and Ariel. We did their engagement photos at their home in Oakland. They got married a few weeks later at Chileno Valley Ranch -which is outside of Petaluma.

A few detail shots from Barrie and Ariel’s beautiful celebration. I loved the food especially -the fava beans on the crostini appetizer were grown in B and A’s garden in Oakland!

Chileno Valley Ranch is a real farm -it is such a special place to get married. They only have a handful of weddings there a year and I was so happy to be in that world for one day.

Here are a few getting ready shots -they got dressed together, which I thought was so cool. It was a very casual scene of people coming in and out, giving styling tips and well wishes…

I always love the groom’s special wedding day socks:

Friends Tilden and Dina helped with the styling. Tilden designed and made both the suit he is wearing and Barrie’s skirt! Dina tied everyone’s ties like a pro.

Tip- put a scarf over your head when putting the dress on. That way your makeup doesn’t get on the dress. Genius.

Emily and Terry – Cavallo Point Inn Wedding

Emily and Terry got married last month at Cavallo Point, in Sausalito. It was one of those days that was threatening to rain, but cleared up for them. I love this couple, they are so down to earth and fun -and their friends are great too. You should have seen the dancing! Here are some of my favorites from the day…

We were packed in a van, late for the ceremony when someone remember the corsages! Here is the best man running back with them.

I love Cavallo Point -it is an old army fort, hence all the matching white buildings. It feels like we are in our own little village.

I love all the hugging that takes place right after a ceremony.

It didn’t rain, but it was chilly!

Emily and Terry are triathletes -how cool is that? This is their gang of triathlon buddies.

I love this first dance picture:

They all changed into converse for the dancing.

I’m so excited! Cavallo Point is using several of my images for their 2010 wedding brochure.

I’m not the one who took the cover shot, but I though it was so pretty…

Francie and Eric

Here is the final post in the lovely wedding of Francie and Eric!

Thank you to Drew, for sitting up on the second floor and getting this shot for me! It is handy to have a husband on-hand when you are shooting a wedding across the country from your assistants.

The “now you may kiss the bride” moment came really quickly and I wasn’t in the usual spot (the aisle). Turns out I like this angle so much more! The officiant’s head isn’t in between the bride and groom and we get to see the sweet smile of Francie.

Floral design was beautiful, done by English Rose Floral Design.

We got a few minutes after the ceremony for portraits… we walked down to their dock, it was so pretty!

It was a beautiful night! Great speeches and food, followed by an awesome dance band.
