I have been photographing weddings since 2003 and love it more and more every year.
Haha, excellent question! I photographed weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area for ten years and then in 2015 we moved to a little island in the Bahamas. I continued photographing weddings in the Bahamas for four years until we moved to Boulder in 2019. So yeah, I traded beached for the Rocky Mountains and have to say I'm very excited to photograph weddings in this ridiculously gorgeous state.
When I photograph weddings, I want to create images that show how it FEELS to be a part of this day, not just whatt it looked like. Weddings are crazy fun, emotion-filled, beautiful celebrations. I love capturing all of this. If I was just into the pretty dresses and bouquets, I'd have probably have stopped long ago! People are way more interesting. :)
YES. Get an album. Without a doubt. You will love it, you will pass it onto your children, it will be a family heirloom. This (besides your spouse) is the thing you walk away with after the wedding. I have been working with the same company for years -they do an incredible job. Every album is handmade, guaranteed for life and just. so. beautiful.
And hey! You can have both the high resolution digital files and the album for a discount when you book!
