THE FAMILY SESSION
These are 30 minute sessions that take place at Matheson Hammock, in the late afternoon.
Even these mini sessions are relaxed, cozy, and real. No stiff smiles or stiff poses.
$250 includes:
30 minute photo session -a mix of posed and candid moments
An 8x10 and 2 5x7 prints of your favorite image
A private online gallery for ordering digital files, prints, and more!

THE FAMILY SESSION:
$400 includes:
-a 90 minutes family session
-a blend of the documentary and lightly posed images.
-Artfully and expert editing of your images (approx. 80)
-A slideshow set to music (these are the best!)
-An online gallery for purchasing additional prints, wall art, albums and digital files
-An 8x10 and 2 5x7 prints of the same image
My goal is to create images that you will look at years from now and think, "Yes, that was who we were. That was our family."
It all changes so fast -so if you are thinking about having a family session, I promise you -you will be so happy you did!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING FAMILIES?
I have been a professional photographer for 20 years and before that, I taught elementary school for 7 years -so I am very comfortable with kids. I'm also a mom myself and relate to all that goes into raising a family. :)
WHAT'S YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?
My family photography style is documentary, candid and warm. I'm always on the lookout for moments that show the special connections between your family. We will make time for lightly posed images in different groupings but much of the session is candid moments.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR DIGITAL FILES, PRINTS, and ALBUMS?
Just reach out through email or phone and I will share all my pricing. There is no pressure to buy a single print from your session and there is no minimum to meet. Most families do invest $900-$1200 in prints, digital files, etc..
HOW DO I PREPARE MY HOME OR MYSELF??
You are all perfect as you are. Truly. You are here together on this planet, you love each other, and that is what these sessions are about.
These photos are for you to look back on in ten years and get a feeling of what life was like at this point with your family -it’s not for a magazine article. I love REAL LIFE in family photos. I love my son’s messy room from our own family photo shoot years ago. I love his crying face in some of the pictures. That room and those little boy tears are gone from our life now so these photos are so precious to me.
WHAT'S THE PROCESS FOR BOOKING A SESSION?
It's simple! You can book a 30 minute session at Matheson Hammock OR a full family session it right now by sending me an email/phone call/text to get things started. Phone calls can be a great way to get to know each other but email also works well -you decide. I'll send over all my information about how the sessions work and pricing of everything from digital files, prints and albums. Then we pick out a date and I'll send you an online link for paying for the session. If anyone gets sick (I get it!), we just reschedule. I know you are a busy parent and my goal is to make this experience easy and fun for you. :)
