Simron and Jesse got married in August.  The ceremony took place at the El Sobrant Gurdwara and they had a reception at the Piedmont Community Hall.

It was such an exciting wedding for me to document -it was a Sikh wedding, so right there you know the colors are going to be magnificent. Beyond that, I loved how narrative the day was. The breakfast, the bharat, the humorous negotiations/money exchange that Jesse went through to be let inside the temple, the dramatic departure from the Temple, etc, etc.  The whole day was truly like watching a story unfold; everyone having a ball playing their part.  Simron and Jesse are wonderful people and I couldn’t be happier for them.

 

 

Oh, and a side note- Jesse is an emmy award winning cinematographer and Simron is a couple exams away of being a kick-ass lawyer.  Yes, that was me showing off about how cool my clients are.
