Graham and Laurel had a wonderful wedding planned in Hope Town last September. All their family and friends were scheduled to fly to Elbow Cay, Bahamas for a weekend of spear fishing, surfing, exploring and celebrating. The only hitch was a mean storm named Hurricane Irma -it was tracking right for Hope Town at the same time. Uh-oh! Luckily, 20 or so guests had arrived early in the week and Graham and Laurel decided, “Screw you, Irma” we are getting married anyways!” They pushed the wedding up 4 days and had a total blast. This hardy crew of surfers and spear fishers were not going to let a hurricane ruin their friend’s wedding.
It was super hot, loads of fun, and everyone did a late-night jump into the pool. Graham’s parents sadly were not able to make it -but you can see the photo of his buddies holding the phone for Facetime so they could watch from the states- you’ll see the photo below.
It really was one for the books! I was personally very happy to take a break from hurricane preparations to be a part of this celebration. 🙂 Thank you Graham and Laurel for making lemonade (with copious amount of rum) out of lemons!!

I love how Laurel practically dragged her dad down the aisle, she was so excited!
