After months of being cooped up inside, it felt pretty wonderful to get out and photograph an engagement session! These two are getting married at the Blackstone River Ranch in Idaho Springs next summer.

For their engagement session, we met in the Boulder foothills, in an area I had scouted out the week before. I love meeting my couples about an hour and a half before sunset to take advantage of that gorgeous evening light. It was also SO green! I actually asked them not to wear any green because I was worried they would get lost in the landscape. 🙂
