The Ginko Leaves are Falling

We used to live on a street in West Oakland that would look like a scene from a fairytale a few weeks out of the year.  The street is lined with ginko trees and in late fall the leaves all turn bright yellow and then blanket the road and sidewalks.  We still have the place we lived in and were doing some landlordy stuff last weekend.  I was so happy to not have missed it -and Drew’s bus looks just perfect in this setting.  (These were taken with an iphone.)  Next year I want to be there with my medium format and spend more than 2 minutes grabbing shots.  Still, I like these…
