Tying the knot on Elbow Cay, Bahamas…
Last November I had the joy of photographing Chesley and Ryan’s beautiful Hope Town Wedding on Elbow Cay. It was perfect weather, a great crowd of family and friends, plus one adorable dog named Rudder. They love the island and wanted to share this special place with their nearest and dearest.
Of course, all weddings start with a ferry ride from Marsh Harbour over to Hope Town. I always love the moods and vibe of the ferry ride…

This was the first time I have taken a boat to and from the wedding. Super fun! Of course it was in an Albury Boat. 🙂
The ceremony was on Tahiti Beach, which is always a dreamland. Mr Vernon officiated, who always steals everyone’s heart! I loved all their beloved nieces and nephews being a part of the wedding too.

All the flowers and details were perfection -thanks to Melinda and her amazing crew at Twigs and Twine. I seriously can’t get over what they are able to create.
And then the surprise Junkanoo!!! This is always a huge hit and best way in the Bahamas to get the energy moving. I love junkanoo so much.
